Temporary Lapse in Water Service

Due to a power surge at the water treatment facility, it caused an issue with electrical equipment that resulted in a temporary lapse in water service. NOTICE – Increase in Water Rates

The City of Houston has previously announced that it will begin progressively increasing its groundwater reduction plan fee (GRP Fee) in April of each year, beginning in 2022 and extending through 2026. On April 1, 2025, the City of Houston increased the GRP Fee that you see as a separate line item on your water bill every month by 4.3%. Therefore, please be advised that the fee imposed by the District in connection with such GRP Fee will increase from $2.83 to $2.95 per 1,000 gallons of water used each month, effective as of April 21, 2025.

2024 Year-End Announcement

Dear residents,

Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 345 (District) owns, operates and maintains, among other infrastructure, a water plant, a wastewater treatment plant, two (2) lift stations, and water and sanitary sewer lines. During the 2024 calendar year, the District launched a new website, approved a 10-year capital improvement plan prepared by its consulting engineer, installed a generator at each of the two (2) lift stations, installed a generator at the wastewater treatment plant, and acquired a site to construct a second water well. The District also levied a total tax rate of $0.1580 per $100 of taxable assessed valuation for the year 2024, which is a reduction from the total tax rate of $0.165 per $100 of taxable assessed valuation for the year 2023.

Late Fees Waived for Sept. & Oct.

Attention Harris County MUD #345 Residents: Due to a mailing error, some residents may have received their September bill late. As a result, there will be NO LATE FEES and/or DELINQUENT NOTICES issued for the September and October billing periods, and late fees incurred from September late payments were credited to resident accounts. Please call Inframark at 281-579-4500 if you have any questions regarding your account. 

Hurricane Season is upon us!

Now that Hurricane Beryl is behind us, we want to take the opportunity to recap a few things as we enter the heart of the hurricane season.  Due to the multiple backup systems MUD 345 has in place, we were able to deliver water and sewer services during Beryl without interruption. 

If we ever need to issue a boil water notice, or we expect a prolonged outage, this will be communicated to customers.  In addition to utilizing the MUD 345 Notification System to notify customers, we will also post updates on the MUD 345 website, and for boil water notices, we will place signs throughout MUD 345.  For immediate and up-to-date information, you can always contact Inframark’s 24-hour customer service line at (281) 398-8211 or, during normal hours of operations, Inframark’s customer service line at (281) 579-4500 .
